I get ur point but ur reasoning is all screwed up not everybody watches every single movie for a storyline... u dont go to see halloween or friday the 13th to be intrigued by the storyline... the !! wont make sense in real life to begin with... U dont watch comedies like the hangover for storylines u watch them to laugh...
Yeah, but comedies like "The Hangover" had a good funny storyline which made the movie even better. Am I right?

[pic] Funny, comedy and especially horror needs a story to be productive, the best of these genres are not plot jumping but coherent stories.

I don't know what you watch movies for but the story is more important than you want to admit.

IF u go into every movie looking for a story line especially from a cartoon based movie then u have a boring film life... That would mean u dont like 90% of scary, cartoon or comedy movies... Because majority of them dont have good storylines but they keep u because its either funny, scary or action packed...
90% of comedies and horrors are trash though so your not saying much with that statement. There are a huge list of great ones though with story so I would skip on the boring part.

But, Transformers 2 fails even as an action movie because the camera is so shaky that you can't tell what the f*ck is going on half the time.

Fam, read up on Transformers.... It's not just the stupid cartoon you are claiming it to be. The cartoon actually has a crazy complicated storyline that should be easy to translate into film... But, alas, there is no story in Transformers 2... It's just Megan Fox in slow motion momentarily interrupted by bits of action and crass humor (like dogs humping).
Transformers 2 actually had a good story and included a lot more of the cartoon than the first one. The story wasn't the problem, it was the excessive fat attached (annoying roommate, forced humor, etc.)

And there was nothing crazy and complicated in the transformers cartoon. It was a simple war for earth's natural resources that resulted into Autobots protecting humans.

Hmmmm... welcome back to the thread, homie.

it isn't just the cartoon, it's the comics and a bunch of other stuff.

My main problem with Transformers 2 is this: It's 2 and a half hours when it could have easily shaved a good hour off of the movie, and it would be easier to follow.

The humor just annoyed the living crap out of me. It was a seat-challenging experience to sit through these scenes of dogs humping, and robot testicles. If you're gonna have crass comedy, then make it COMEDIC. And, alas those two stepin-fetchbots were not only annoying but hella offensive.

And, the action isn't even all that great. There are a few scenes (mainly the fight in the forest) that is crazy dope, but everything else is just pointlessly tight and needlessly frenetic to the point in which you can't even tell what the hell is going on in the fight scenes.

And, the story (which is non-existent) makes no sense. It even disregards what happened in the original (like Bumblebee learning how to talk at the end of the first one, why can't he talk now?). And, they pretty much wade you through a good hour and a half before they tell you what the movie is even about anyway.

Nearly everything about this movie is a mind-blowingly awful failure to me.

I enjoyed Jennifer's Body. It won't win any awards, but watching it in a theater with friends is fun stuff. Then again, I love these horror/comedy movies like Hatchet, Slither, Feast, Evil Dead, etc. !!, I watch SyFy movies when I get bored.

Hmmm, I like Megan Fox and all but seriously, judging off the trailers alone, this movie is a failure... I won't spend money to watch it... but if it ever comes on HBO in a year or two I might watch it...

Transformers 2 rocked... I don't really care what anybody says.... Just cuz someone likes Transformers 2 (or any other brainless CGI filled action movie) doesn't mean they don't know how to appreciate movies with actual stories, meanings etc... I can sit through a hour and a half movie filled with brainless BS just as well as I can sit through 2-3 hour dramas like Cast Away, White Oleander etc.... I actually prefer dramas over action, but I love action (Yes I loved Wanted, !! the haters) and comedy as well...

yea man, that !! turn me on actually, the way megan was kissing her lips. I am telling you this movie was ok, not the best, but not the worse either. Her acting was ok, I didn't really see anything wrong about her acting. You can't blame the story on her, she didn't write it, but she has lost a lil weight, I thought she was bigger than that. She has no[..] at all. I like the movie honestly.

Yeah... I'm against exploitation of females, but that lesbian make-out scene was nearly worth it... lol

didn't like it that much. the dialogue is !!ty. who talks like that? i guess that's the writer's "trademark" but that !! comes off like she was trying to be cool and it just wasn't working.

Yeah, I kinda felt that way too. Some of the dialogue was funny, but some of it was just awkward and just plain bad.
