No, it really doesn't. Season 2 was my least favorite season yet I still watched and enjoyed it. I got every underlying "theme" of the show and was never puzzled as to what was going on. There are so many themes and characters in that show that people liking any of the seasons the best is justified.

im on episode 10 of season 2, good season but I think I like season 1 better. but I guess I need to see the finale of season 2 before I say.

Your in the best season. The start of season 3 and end of season 3 are possibly the best parts of the entire series..

I didn't care for the show that much, lost interest after S3.

If it weren't for the Omar and Michael characters, I probably wouldn't have liked it at all.

Well... you should've watched this first - cause if you enjoyed The Shield's pacing, you will be incredibly disappointed in The Wire.

Theres always one I guess...

Sounds like you are an ADD entertainment viewer. The Shield is great but thats exactly what you are if that post is telling.
