Well, you'd be comparing something that happened 11 years ago to something that happened under a month ago, so your point is flawed.

In the American consciousness, people might still be thinking about Aurora, CO more than they are 9/11, and that's a fact. Try again.

Comedy shouldn't have limits. I understand a network not wanting to air something as they are a private company they have the right to do that. To say not enough time has passed, or getting mad because too many people might care is terrible reasoning.

For me, I don't mind a controversial humor if it's funny.

But, to me, it ain't funny. I get the joke, it just wasn't a very good one.
