i personally would take the batman films (nolan) over any of the marvel movies, but to each his own.

I swear the Nolan trilogy while the best comic book trilogy to date is soooooooooo overrated to me. I still don't get the appeal and the first superman i'm not really big on either. Good at the time. AT THE TIME

Mafuhkas actin' like theyre gettin' residuals or some !!. You like the Batman movies. Thats great. Me personally, I like the original Mike Keaton Batman more than all these !!s. Had the right amount of drama. Right amount of campy comicy feel to it. Sh*t was fresh & still holds up.
Best comic book film imo though is EASILY the 1st IRON MAN. Easily.

I've always found it interesting how Marvel and DC comics translated into movies though....Marvel comics always had the heavier issues, but release lighter popcorn movies, while DC comics were mostly fluff outside of Mark Millar but have the "darker" movies

Im sayin' as far as comic characters who "most people know" stories that "most people know" Iron Man was that piffery. The best part about that movie was that it spent just enough time on origin & then him getting comfortable with ghe whole Iron Man thing without being too long & drawn out. Spider Man did it too but imo Injust felt IM did a way better job. And thats alot of the reason why I liked it. Plus it (for the most part) stayed true to the comic.

based off popular characters,iron man as a movie is not in tha same class as any nolan film,nor tha 1989 batman,nor spiderman.iron man is a rare case where tha character i.e tony stark,is more entertaining outside tha suit.u cant be tha best super hero movie and u dont even feature a super villain lol

Edit: plus they managed to make the character cool. Iron Man is a well known character but he falls into the D-list characters list with Daredevil, Nighthawk, [rip]lok etc etc. so Kudos to Marvel for even taking a chance on an Iron Man movie. Cause ppl really arent checking for Iron Man like that. Mainly because he doesnt have an intriguing super villain like that.
