He would've made for a more interesting villain than the version of Hector Hammond that appeared in Green Lantern. That's for damn sure.

no villain wouldve saved that movie.grundy is a cool villain,but lantern is just a !! hero,especially for a live action movie.every decent hero or villain doesnt not translate to live action

ur just trolling right now.....Marvel made Captain America and Thor respectable movies...I love Captain America, but even I kno he aint !! wen it comes to storyline....and Thor's about as deep as the shallow end of the pool

Green Lantern is deep as !!, all 4, Wonder Woman, isnt as deep as GL, but she's deeper then Thor that's for dam sure...Flash and Martian Manhunter, meh.....but then again I don't support single movies for them (similar to Hawkeye and Black Widow)..

But i think we can all agree that if Marvel pulls off this Antman movie, DC has NO EXCUSES...(they're excuses r thin as is after the Thor movie came out and made ppl actually think Thor had a personality)

I think people are confused as to think DC has a Marvel like setup.

Marvel, for all intents & purposes, is its own studio. DC is WHOLLY owned by WB, so WB calls the shots when it comes to films, not DC. WB, I'm sure, doesn't wanna devote the kind of money for another interconnected universe...

Look what happened with The Matrix films as a good example of why they stay away from that.

Its always comparisons to !! this movie aint better than that movie hell even people's opinions get compared! How the !! does one compare an opinion? Its an opinion! But somehow, someway yall have managed to do it [pic] I use to come in here to read what the majority of what yall posted about movies, actors, tv shows, directors and watch dope[..] movie trailers. [pic] [pic] All this !! ended once I started posting my own opinions in here......and I thought the gaming section was !!ed up [pic]

So I wont be reading any of yall !!ing opinions no more cause its clear none of you have any idea what it means to be a TRUE fan of film and cinema. So I'll just post my own opinions knowing I'm the only one thats absolutely right. Just like everybody else

Given the a great script,cast,director,action and above all the movie being exucuted well any of DC comics could translate well to the big screen...it's those core movie elements that creates a great movie,not so much the material of the movie itself.just my 2cent.

should it matter its sjut movies.. to really look at for face value it took 2 hulk movies 2 iron mans 1 thor 1 captain america totaling 6 movies that is suppose to really be out to beat 3 movies from one reboot series of BATMAN an adult drama. Avengers would succeed even it it was a !!ty movie. i dont think DC should do anything to be honest just let studios make movies.
comic book pop corn movies will win just by what it is. if you like the movie it dont matter how much it makes thats for studios to care about .. of all the avengers i only liked iron man movies

i presonally wouldnt mind just having the civil wars movie and then calling it quits accross the board

DC can easily do what Marvel has as long as they make sure their movies are entertaining and carry a decent tone throughout. They need to[..]ign writers and directors to projects that will give them good consitency. GL could be a stronger movie if you go past the intro arc and into the more interesting stories. Wonder Woman could prolly match Thor's success. Shazam could do well with kids, especially if you keep The Rock attached. I could see The Flash being decent. JLU has the potential to 1-up Avengers but DC just has to find their footing. You have to capture each chaarcter's atmosphere like Nolan captured Batman. Hell, college kids are even attempting their characters.[pic]

Actually, the Incredible Hulk was a reboot. Iron, Thor, and Captain America were risky movies to make to begin with, but for those to get sequels and The Incredible Hulk to not get one tells a lot. Hulk to me is more marketable than any other Marvel movie, but it just didn't make the money that the other 3 franchises did. So, no, The Avengers was not garunteed to make as much money as it is making. It had to be good or else.
