How Can Anybody Think Of Rebooting Batman After Christopher Nolan Trilogy.

How Can Anybody Think Of Rebooting Batman After Christopher Nolan Trilogy.

A Great Movie, Then One Of The Best Movies Ever Now If The Dark Knight Rises Is Remotely above Average It Would Be One Hell Of A Task Matching Nolan's Brilliantness.

We have to give other directors a chance to create their own adaptations and visions of the great character known as Batman [pic]

Of course for money but to me the interesting thing will be which note worthy director is willing to do it. Cause just think Nolan and his crew up until this point has handled the Ledger (RIP) situation rather perfectly. No Joker its a new villain and its the conclusion to an epic trilogy. Were talking history in the making series. Now imagine with the next Batman film what kind of pressure if you wanna call it that the next director/cast will be facing. Following Nolans legacy is 1 thing but in the next Batman films there will be another Joker, Alfred, Bruce Wayne damn near everything. Just thinking about that !! is crazy. Cause you cannot go into a different direction to much cause "WE" will say its not Batman and you cant necessarily follow in Nolans footsteps with his adaptation cause "WE" will say its a B level copy of Nolans work. Whoever gets cast as the next Joker is a cheap knockoff and "WE" already know he aint good enough.

The only thing that will suck is if it they do it too soon and decide not to include The Joker.

People probably said the exact same thing when some author/animator decided to restart the original Batman comic line, along with damn near every other Marvel/DC comic series. [pic] It's a part of the medium, so many different adaptations of the same general character/series, each with its own themes/styles, gives directors a lot of source material to work with, and the potential to always create their own unique work within a smaller frame (ie Burton's Batman vs Nolan's Batman vs Bat!!s).

I honestly think they'll go after Ryan Gosling...and Gosling will attempt to use his star power to get Refn on as the director. Thats a reboot that I could get behind.

I don't think I could EVER buy Ryan Gosling as Batman.

BUT, I'd love to see Refn's style from something like Bronson brought to a Batman story.

That said, I don't even wanna hear the words "Batman Reboot" for another 10 years.

I was going post that as well. I see Ryan Gosling more as an ideal Robin.

there are dozens of retellings of batman origins and stories what happens if the next director decides to make an actual comic book style movie and not a crime drama or they do a film adaptation of the frank miller stories

The Amazing Spider-Man came five years after it's previous trilogy, and it STILL felt too soon to me.

I really do think this franchise needs some room to breathe. There are MANY iterations of Batman, ranging from the serious-minded approach of these films, to the more fantastic versions that are out there from the 40's... But, I do think 5 or even 6 years is too soon.
