Heroes starts up again on Monday, September 21st with a 2 hour premiere. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the show runners can pull Heroes away from the abyss it seems to have been staring down into for the past 18 months.

Episode 4.01 Orientation
Episode 4.02 Push Jump Fall

Is there life for Heroes beyond season 4? Or should NBC just give its slot to a new pilot? Perhaps breathe life into another canceled show? Maybe it's too soon to tell. After all, Heroes still has another season, which kicks off with a two-hour premiere on September on Monday, September 21. Who knows, it might be worth giving this show one last shot.

Season 3 had an incredibly good first half but the second half of the season was a little underwhelming, i was expecting more. Ive seen the trailer for this season and it looks very good, i hope they get back to having more mystery in the show and leave out the "Company" rehash story arc that theyve done in every season now.

i dont know whether to be happy or upset yea season 3 was on and off between great or just fail. the season finale was an epic fail. unless they bring back both nathan and silar instead of the hybrid this season will fail too.

I hope Hayden has improved as an actor, I mean I don't know anyone who likes her character. They gotta give Tracy and dude from Prison Break a lot of face time. And HRG.

Season 3 wasnt bad, the first half of it was fantastic but then the second half went back to the same old Company or some organization hunting down the Heroes.

i liked most of season 3, more so the arthur petrelli saga...didnt care for the fianle....i mean cmon how many times can they jip us out of a great fight scene

We will NEVER get a fight scene worth the hype...I'm afraid Season 1 jinxed that...

Heroes has so many continuity errors that they try to cover up with alternate time lines. Of course, I understand that some of it just couldn't fit within the season, but so much sloppiness and unused story lines made it one of the worst shows on TV at a certain point.

I love Sylar, but his character was really poorly written throughout the whole Volume since Season 2, as were the story lines he was featured in. The writers need to be firm in where they take a TV series, this isn't a soap opera.

Deaths on Heroes have no consequence and that makes for sloppy TV. Even the Nathan/Sylar thing that they have going on now will be predictable to a certain degree. It would be much better if Heroes had a beginning, middle, and end...but it's too late for that now.

They never kill off anyone. Whenever they kill someone, they develop a healing ability (Father Petrelli, Peter, Nathan, Claire) an identical twin sister turns up (Niki/Tracy) or someone transforms into them. (Nathan, again.) Seriously, the writers should kill people for once! At least the Lost writers aren't afraid to kill, Charlie, Boone, Shannon, Michael.

From the original main cast, only the following have died:

Simone - Minority, female.
Isaac - Minority
DL - Minority
Niki - Female, replaced by Tracy
Nathan - Replaced by Sylar

Now let's see who has died and been brought back:

1. Claire (during The Eclipse ... seriously, that was lame)
2. DL (we had assumed he died after Linderman shot him, then "Four Months Ago" reveals that no, he survived only to be killed later )
3. Hiro (nosebleed)
4. Parkman (super cliffhanger with him being strapped to the bombs ... then nothing. Back to season 1 when he was shot like 8 times)
5. Micah (supposedly killed by Danko)
6. Noah (shot by Mohinder then brought back)
7. Peter (Every. Single. Episode)
8. Nathan (explosion at the end of Season 1. Note that Peter could've flown by himself)
9. Sylar (Every. Single. Episode)

Finally, the Claire-bear lesbian kiss they are adding in this season stinks of desperation from NBC and the Heroes writers.

Heroes has gone from a 9/10 series to a 2/10 series.
