IMO...

Rocky 1 was best overall (Won the 1976 Academy Award for "best Picture" and "Best Director")

However...

Rocky IV grossed the most money but had the 2nd lowest movie reception rating

you really cant go wrong with anyone of these movies,including 5 which people seem to hate for some reason...one of if the not the best movie series of all time...

Rocky I for sure. IV was epic, Drago was by far his best opponent, and III is right up there too, Clubber Lang was bad as fuuuuuuuuck. "Eh bwoi! Eh Bwoi! Balboa you aint !!!!"

plus round 14 is one of my favorite things in movie history, creed knocking him down, mickey telling him to stay down, adrian coming out of the back, rocky getting back up, that look on creeds face when he sees rocky got up, rocky signaling him to bring it on for more.

[pic][pic] that's my fav scene of the series , rocky breaks apollos ribs. Rocky 1 is the best hands down didn't it win most inspirational movie ? Plus it has that 70s style , rocky as a mob worker bottom of the barrel.

Rocky IV is the best one. I love that movie. I still listen to the Rocky IV Soundtrack. Best training montage, best fight, best drama ([pic] I might be over doing it here. Rocky III might have got this), and best opponent. Rocky had Russians cheering for him!

TS, you made a mistake on your poll. What is this "Rocky V" you speak of?

I refuse to believe there was a Rocky movie after part four. No matter what people tell me and I saw, there isn't a Rocky movie after part four.

Its impossible to say cause all the films go together so well. the only one thats subpar is 5.

i pick rocky 6. i just love that speech he gives to his son. some of the best dialogue i ever heard in a film.

but really...they're all great.
