How is Bruce Wayne going to climb a stone wall with a rock/stone as heavy as him or heavier to support his weight to go across the rope? So much for your friends engineering solution. I hope for all our sake your friend never gets a engineering job to develop a bridge, building or anything at that. [pic]

Apparently your engineer friend doesn't know what a plot hole is either. [pic]

[pic] so many plot holes in this plot hole analysis.

Obviously you guys know nothing about simple physics [pic]

The rock needs to be a couple lbs max, just heavy enough to attach to the rope so that you can throw it over the higher rock and it'll keep the rope taut on the other side. You think Bruce Wayne couldn't carry a 2-lb rock up with him, then use it to throw over the stone? [pic]

Then, the prisoners simply climb up said rope all the way to the higher stone, at which point they climb, ropeless, to freedom.

Of course the rope was that !!ing long enough you thickheaded imbecile, it obviously had to be strung up very high in order to support them as they climbed, and then when they tied it around their body and fell they hung nearly all the way down. It's not like they couldn't just elongate the rope if they needed to anyways [pic]

I can tell most of your guys' physics knowledge doesn't extend much further than gravity [pic]

For what it's worth, he's a Regents scholarship winner, finished in the top 1% of the Bioengineering program at UCSD, and is now on a full ride scholarship in the PhD bioengineering program at UCLA. I'd venture to guess he knows a bit more than most of the resident BX scholars [pic]

I mean I know damn near everyone on BX is a !!ing idiot, but even this is surprising. Retards talking about tightroping across at the top when there are !!in arrows pointing to where you climb up at [pic]

Christian Bale weighed roughly 185 pounds when he filmed the Batman trilogy. That would mean he would need to haul up a rock that weighs as much as him or almost as much to support his weight, and then some how throw it over the higher ledge? [pic]

Silly[..] friend of yours...[pic]

[pic] obviously you didn't read my last post.

The rock serves no other purpose than to give him something to attach to the rope so he can throw it over the higher stone, at which point they could all CLIMB the rope to the higher stone.

So you're saying that the end of the rope with the two pound rock on it is supposed to be long enough to reach down to the other prisoners so they can weigh it down to keep it taut?

Didn't you see how thick that rope was? Now I might not be no engineer, but there's no way to fit a knot around a small[..] two pound rock when the rope is that thick. I could go in my back yard right now and find a two pound rock and see that there's no way to fit a rope that think around it into a knot.
