I think in general shows back in the 90's was s**ttin on anything on tv now...

I was about to come in here and put Nickelodeon back on that pedestal, but there's no need...we all was watching the same s**t. Before & after school was FOX...Nick later on and on the weekends, and they kept the same schedule so you can do stuff afterwards. Nowadays you would have to wait for some good s**t to come on...f**k that. Gimme my good shows and I'm out doing something else.

Nickelodeon & Fox was clearly hogging the ratings back in the day though...

I gotta give an honorable mention to PBS, NBC, ABC (Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters), CBS (TMNT), etc...Nick didn't exist for me before we had cable...

I know what you mean.

People always praise Nickelodeon and Fox Kids but usually overlook the UPN shows and especially PBS. I use to watch PBS all the time. I grew up for the most part without cable so ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, UPN, and PBS was all I needed.

PBS was the gateway channel to cartoons back then for me....and television in general.

They even had James Earl Jones hosting a show about fairytales.

I remember all of those except for Mutant League. There so many shows that only ran for like 2-3 seasons and then got canceled and replaced.

Y'all should checkout "Itsbx.com" I posted mostly all these cartoons over there and more.
