if you dont think hes dead after reading this then you just dont get it......for the people who thinks this writer guy is reaching....hes not,david chase doesnt waist a frame on anything...everything means something....i didnt even think about that first shot as tony in a coffin.....crazy

hmmm that was a good read. but i dunno if hes dead or not, even Chase said he hasn't ruled out a movie to end it, so even the creator desn't know. the theories make a lot of sense though. still thought the ending was wack, in fact the whole of season 6 except the 2nd from last episode was pretty poor IMO.

very interesting, anyone else find it pretty hilarious the publicity this is getting? just as Chase wanted, and you got to give it up for the guy. this ending will be talked about for years to come, and he even has people devoting many hours of research (see this guys article in the given thread) of how he sees it went down.

Its a good read but another thing to add, the first time tony was shot or shot at (which was a setup by uncle junior when the two black guys attempted the carjacking) he was grazed in the ear , then in the final episode the two black guys walk in at the last minute... how do you know they didnt do it???? and usually when its a hit the guy wont stare at you he will mind his business then whack...this guy stared at tony the whole time, it would have been a dead give away.

good read. but the only thing i disagree with is that when they show tony sleeping at the beginning, he was snoring. the guy in the article says that it looks more like we are looking at tony in an open casket before the organ music comes on and the song plays.

After reading about it, I think that it is the greatest ending ever for a movie or tv show.

this is called too much time on your hands and living vicariously through a hbo show. david chase had no problem showing everyone else get whacked, why not show tony gettin whacked? end of story. This show was pointless two seasons ago when it should've ended. Greedy[..] hbo execs.
