Fast and the Furious 3

"The Fast and the Furious 3" is written by Chris Morgan ("Cellular"), who places the third entry in Tokyo: in this adrenalized new story, set in the secksy, underground world of Japanese drift racing, the newest and fastest customized rides go head-to-head on some of the most perilous courses ever seen.

"The Fast and the Furious 3" follows the story of Shaun Boswell, who has always been an outsider. A loner at school, his only connection to the indifferent world around him is through illegal street racing -- which has made him particularly unpopular with the local authorities. To avoid jail time, Shaun is sent out of the country to live with his uncle in the military, in a cramped apartment in a low-rent section of Tokyo.

In the land that gave birth to the majority of modified racers on the road, the simple street race has been replaced by the ultimate pedal-to-the-metal, gravity-defying automotive challenge ... drift racing, a deadly combination of brutal speed on heart stopping courses of hairpin turns and switchbacks.

For his first unsuccessful foray in drift racing, Shaun unknowingly takes on D.K., the "Drift King," with ties to the Yakuza, the Japanese crime machine. The only way he can pay off the debt of his loss is to venture into the deadly realm of the Tokyo underworld, where the stakes are life and [rip].

New director, hopefully a new cast, this could actually be pretty good. I saw Better Luck Tommorow and that was an excellent flick. Could be the best out of the series, though thats not saying much

if its a new directer and new cast...why the !! would you call it fast and the furious 3? ish is stupid...no paul walker,vin disel or even tyrese.

This Is Old...They Annouce This ish Last Year.

The latest on Greg's Previews which is basically the upcoming movies section for Yahoo! is:

"2/20/05 - This is just an update to say, nearly a year after Universal started talking to Vin Diesel about returning for a 3rd movie, that nothing has really happened on that front yet. Vin Diesel has remarked recently that he is still interested, but other than that... this one's just sort of sitting in development for now."

after they lost Vin Diesel ish was over.....he should make another movie similar to "A Man Apart" - that movie was ill.

They should come up with something new if there not using the same cast, crew and director. Why the hell is it called Fast and Furious 3?

On the other hand though, new cast, chracters and director could make this interesting.

I remember reading on some movie site that Vin was back in for sure...and Paul Walker was in the talks...But Im like yall if they aint in I dont wanna see it.

But Tokyo is a great idea by far.

I would defly not see it if vin disel wasnt in it and who the !! made a story about drifting?? what is exciting about drifting? nothing i mean the cars are prolly tight but wtf why would someone setup a bullish movie around drifting.. i swear they better change the name of the damn thing... im sorry im ranting all over but i cannot handle this info ive been a big fan of the fast and furious series but this goes to show you that all triligies (sp?) blow !!.. and i am very dissapointed right now.. im about to go set all of my fast and the furious dvd's and videos on fire...
