I agree with the review.

TDK was a lot better in my opinion.

I like Nolan's work in general as he is one of the premiere directors in hollywood but this last batman wasn't anything special.

All that was missing was the theme song after she knifed Batman then the flash back that is identical to Saw when revealing a "twist".

You make some interesting points, even though I don't agree. One point I can agree with is sometimes, the audio mixing is a little off, and a little too loud. I also agree about the Talia reveal. It felt telegraphed very early on, so when it happens, it doesn't feel like a mind-blowing twist. That element, in fact, her entire character was underwhelming.

However, this seems more like a synopsis rather than a review. You go through the movie point by point in chronological order, but it doesn't read or flow as well as you'd like, in my opinion. You gotta learn how to make these things ebb & flow from one point to the next (something I'm still trying to do myself). And, also on a STAR system, a 2.5 (out of 5) is a pretty average score, and isn't negative enough to say "movie sucked".

Overall, I look forward to reading more of your reviews, even though you seem to think I somehow get paid by studios (Negro please)...

My score for TDKR on a 5 star system would probably be solid 4 stars, while TDK was 5 stars.

[pic] review was funny but I really liked this movie, but I was mad that I couldn't understand wtf Bane was saying for the early parts of it

agreed with everything even though i enjoyed the movie...i walked into this movie with low expectations because even though it's nolan, it is afterall, still a superhero movie. that usually means to expect deus ex machinas and cliches...which dark knight rises never failed at providing.

Only part I agree with in the 'review' was that the sound editing was MEH for a movie of this size and money put into it.

you're one of those guys that reads a review and goes "bu bu he gave this movie that's nothing at all like this one a higher or lower score!" huh?

Damn, I quick looked at the thread title and misread it......

I came in here expecting a Dark Knight Rises Review by DMX......What a disappointment.
