Are you forgetting about the opening scene where Nazi's open fire on a innocent family of Jews? Inglorious basterds has little to do with Jews. It is about the k!lling of Nazi's. All of World War 2 was not simply "JEWS, JEWS, JEWS" like so many believe. You should read up on it.

While on the other hand Django has very much to do about the plight of Blacks during the slavery era of the US.

11 million people died in the Holocaust and 70 million in the whole war and niccas focused on the 6 million Jews that died

white people needed to see this !! too real talk cuz people really don't know the reality of american history at least be somewhat informed. when jamie blew the house up and winked at his girl that was one of the greatest endings i've ever seen lmao

After that day nobody said it to my face again cuz I was serious about that !!. I have no qualms with the word n'gga because I feel like when I use it im taking power from the word and what it was meant to be wen im talking to my brothas.. My momma and daddy was born in the early 50s so they never played that !! and I never said it around them. People that arent black wanna say it so bad but I feel like you gotta earn it.. and my people went to hell doing so.. its about struggle. So like I say.. I feel like when blacks use it now its a reminder of the struggle. I try not to use it tho..

Heartbreaking story..

Anyways, the movie is incredible from beginning to end. Easily one of the top movies of 2012.

It was a great movie. Really great. It just rubbed me the wrong way with how people in the theater were laughing so much at the use of the N word.

I agree with the poster that said a black director couldn't have gotten away with making this movie as crazy as that seems.

Easily one of the best movies of the year. Great acting. Waltz and Leo owned. And Sam Jackson was hilarious.

My only real gripe was that it should have ended with the bloody shootout scene with Tupac playing as it went on. Him getting captured and the stuff that ensued wasn't necessary. But that didn't ruin the fact that it was a great movie. And I really have a tough time deciding between Leo and Waltz for that best supporting actor award I am sure both will be nominated for.

I think Leo had to put much more into his character for this role he def should win something. Waltz was just a weaker version of his IBastards character he was still great. Jamie was great too, but he didn't really have to go leaps and beyond. Leo has never done a character like that and pulled it off magnificently.

Leo the GOD.

i agree with the white people laughing at the N word. but i think they've been blinded by watching Pryor,Chappelle,Murphy, etc other comedians using it in their stand up, that they feel comfortable laughing at it. Because there are plenty jokes by those comedians that are wrapped around the usage of the word. Just how it is said. But def rub me a little wrong. But whatever im not in the theatre to analyze mutha!!as. Its a movie, enjoy yourself have a good time and thats exactly what this movie is about. You laugh, you wanna cry, you get angry, you happy, theres defeat, theres redemption.

I'm not black, and I can see how it might be weird for ya'll, but I was with my cousin who is half black, and his step dad who's full black from Compton, and they !!ing loved it!

!! is one of the funniest films of the year, but at the same time one of the most intense/disturbing films of the year. Tarantino is a master at balancing his films with heart wrenching REALISTIC violence, and OVER THE TOP "Tarantino" violence...

For the most part the performances were great! LEO was so !!ing amazing. Dude needs to win an Oscar, but I'm not sure they're going to give him the nod, because of the content... !! was weird hearing him say the N-word, but dude was such a badass but likable at the same time.

Samuel L. Jackson dropped a fire performance as a grumpy[..] slave, and almost stole the show!

Jamie Foxx's performance was decent, but I thought it was a tad underwritten for the protagonist of the film. Dude did a solid job, and did the best with what he was given.

Kerry Washington's performance was beautiful and heartbreaking as Broomhilda, and she gave a very surprising and brave performance.

Overall I give it a 4 out of 5.

I love Tarantino, but for me Inglorious was his masterpiece so far. Django was still an amazing film, but probably ranks :
1.Inglorious
2.Reservoir
3.Pulp
4.Django
5.Jackie Brown
Off yourself with a butter knife for not even mentioning k!ll Bill. Simpletons.

First of all, you say 11million then you say 6million.

Second of all, if there was a holocaust on the black people and someone said "70million people died fighting in WW2 and people are focused on the 6million niccas that died LOL," you would be mad as !!.

So stop with this double standard bull!!, stop being an ignorant little !!, and grow the !! up.
