I've seen the thing twice already, 2nd time today and the !! was sold out both times. Some people might be reluctant to go but its still selling out here and we're a full week in so either those people are full of !! or TDKR is doing a ton of repeat business.

Movie isn't selling as much cuz it's a horrible film. Probably the biggest disappointment for me ever, was looking forward to this so much...
Seems like everyone's caught on the hype train though.

There was no emotion from any of the actors, no one connected, the only real emotion was from Michael Caine. I didn't give a !! about Batman, and at no point did I feel he was in danger.
What a bull!! ending, god, so predictable.
Tom Hardy was a WASTE of TALENT as BANE. Sucks cuz he's a great actor, pretty much all he did was stand around with his muscles bulging. It's just !!ty cuz wearing that mask, and having to record his voice in a recording studio after takes away from the emotion from scene to scene.

The love between Selina Kyle, and Bruce was never there, they just magically fell in love...

Action was lame, hand to hand combat was so !!ing boring, scenes with the BAT (Plane thingy) were so boring...

I could go on, and on, and on. If you liked it, well sweet, everyone has their own opinions, but tell me WHY YOU LIKED IT!

NOT JUST, OMFG IT WAS SO EPICZ!!!!!

Nolan !!ed up on this one.

So Friday estimates are out and this movie is still trailing behind TDK. I think it's safe to say that the Ledger effect is real[pic]

The overall box office is down 30% compared to this same weekend last year. 20%-25% of the movie going public are afraid to go to the movies. Then factor in the Olympics. I saw The Watch last night and there were eight people there besides me and this chick I went with.

Those box office down so and so percent figures means absolutely nothing. This week last year Captain America was having its opening weekend and the last HP movie was in its second weekend. This year you have TDKR and *crickets*. We'll never know whether that 20-25% ever saw the movie because we'll never know when they actually saw the movie. its not like those people are going to get together and see it en masse one day and magically that 20% is going to be accounted for.

And The watch is[..]. That's why people aren't seeing it.[pic]

Not even gonna argue about it because it's clear you know nothing about marketing or statistical trends. A movie doesn't make $160M one weekend, get an exit score of an A and then see a 60+% decline the next weekend, especially when its predecessors are held in high regard. And that study done on audiences wasn't some dumb university study, it was done by a firm that's very good at what it does. If they say 20% of audiences are fearful of going to the movies, then it's no less than 18%.

Funny because [rip]ly Hollows Pt 2 did exactly that. In fact it dropped about 72%

Only 18.4 Million yesterday putting this against the Olympics was a bad idea by WB should have released this in May or April probably would have done $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ like the Avengers.
