No offense, but Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises is as much of a movie for the kids as it is for the adults. We are talking about Batman here. To think otherwise is stupid. There is a reason why these movies are released during the summer when school is out.
Bottom line: Both franchises come from the same medium. Comic books. So they will forever be compared. Get over it.
