Adults can't enjoy action movie's now?

TDKR isn't exactly some complex movie, buddy.

And I'm a fan of both movie's.

Look at it this way. There is no 3D, less action, and it cost more to make and market. The Avengers has 3D, more action, and cost less to make and market. The Avengers cost less, and made more. While TDKR cost more, and made less.[pic]

It will end up at #7 All-Time...

With No Joker... No 3D... Basically a 3 Hour Runtime(less showings per day)... And a National Tragedy[..]ociated with it's Opening Weekend.

Get Mad. [pic]

Nolan fans, movie version of Wayne/50 fans, all about sales no substance, take it with a grain.

the point here is TDKR Rises and the Avengers are two VERY DIFFERENT type of movies

well superhero type

but batman is more of a thriller
plus it's one superhero

On the other hand
Avengers is action only
with a !!load of marvel characters

There is no Nolan Stans, Or Batman franchise stan
cuz that's a grown up movie
(i know y'all gon be very mad at this kids, truth hurts)
(well yes there are... but NOT AS MANY AS the avengers')

Avengers "stans" were the first coming in here comenting on the avengers
that supposedly !!ted on batman

avengers stans are so insecure about their favourite movie they feel compelled to talk about it in every TDKR thread

well, we're pissed off, and we answer back

this is the third post

Wake me up when it catches the avengers

Avengers>>>
The avengers were NOT mentioned in this thread before

AVENGERS FANS ARE INSECURE about their stupid[..] kid movie
they feel obliged to bring the box office every time in other movies threads

not even talkin about the movie

BOTTOM LINE : stop comparing both movies

and why did i put "no 3D "?
only because most of the top 10 movies are 3D...

The world doesn't revolve around the avengers kids

Listen I liked TDKR more than The Avengers and TDK is easily one of my favorite movie's of all time but this guy is in here calling The Avengers a kid's movie, like the theater wasn't packed with 20-40 year old's if you went to the night time showings.

Hell, my dad and all my uncles are 60+ and I know for a FACT every single one of them are going to love The Avengers whenever they catch it on HBO or whatever.

Action movie =/= kids movie.

You sir, are the man...[pic]

I kept telling people before both movies came out that The Avengers SHOULD make more money than TDKR based on the fact that it has seven superheros compared to one. That's seven different fan bases that will converge onto this movie.

I bet that if you re-adjusted the money The Avengers made on 3D tickets into 2D ticket prices, it would be SIGNIFICANTLY lower than where it's at now. Maybe even lower than TDKR.

Nolan's movies stay winning Oscars, Golden Globes, ETC.
Marvel movies stay winning MTV Movie Awards.

Nolan is far and away one of my favorite directors and there isn't a single movie of his that I do not like a LOT.

But he's never won an Oscar or a Golden Globe.

The fanboy war between Avenger Stans and TDKR stans has become as bad as Lebron vs Kobe, Android vs iPhone, etc, etc.

Stop it. They are both good movies.
