Christopher Nolan's Next Movie Could Be The. Coolest. Thing. Ever.

Now that he's officially wrapped up the Batman series, Christopher Nolan has been somewhat of a free agent, leaving us to wonder what kind of movie he'll make next. Well, it turns out that the director might have just found a new project to helm—and no, it's got nothing to do with the numbers 0,0, and 7.

Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that Nolan is actually eyeing "Interstellar," a sci-fi screenplay penned by his go-to writer, his brother Jonathan. The story "sees a group of explorers travel through a wormhole" and generally involves time travel and alternate dimensions. Pulling cues from scientific theories developed by Kip Thorne (who's got a crazy-impressive string of titles: theoretical and gravitational physicist, AND astrophysicist), the script is pretty much guaranteed to cover all of the trippy, mind-bendy stuff that the "Inception" director tackles best.

The most recent film the Nolan brothers teamed up for was last year's "The Dark Knight Rises." Previously, Jonathan had a hand in penning "The Dark Knight" and "The Prestige." But of course the one that started it all—particularly for Chris—was "Memento," for which Jonathan has a "story by" credit.

As is the case with many sci-fi scripts promising to be epic, the dealmaking process for "Interstellar" has been described as "very complex," according to THR's tipsters. The film, which has reportedly been in the negotiation stage for months, even once had Steven Spielberg attached to direct. So it looks like it's going to be a while before the ball really begins to roll.

Ive always been a huge fan of time travel/space travel movies. Nolan directing this kind of movie is just perfect. Should be another classic.

I've never seen inception. Is it any good? Only Nolan Movies I've seen are TDK & TDKR. Not really THAT much of a movie person but I can enjoy a good one from time to time.
