Yep, money is the reason. If they agreed to pay him boatload of money to do another friday movie trust me he would do it.

I never wanted the Smokey character back like that. It would have been cool but not as epic as many thought it would be. I liked the last two fridays more than the first one anyway.

Chris lost the juice, that was obvious after watching that poor excuse of a movie Rush Hour 3.

Rush hour 3 wasn't that bad honestly. But he just feels that Friday wont make him much money and isnt worth the time.

Dude is still hilarious if you listen to the interview. As long as he's funny, he can always make the money back. He's doing the smart thing and immediately addressing what everyone is thinking and not avoiding the elephant in the room.

Guy only has one kid, so he has clearly been doing some serious spending and giving away of dough. Most dudes in this spot have gone through multiple divorces and have five or more kids.
