'Buckwild' Reality Show Star 'Salwa Amin' Arrested

Summersville , Nicholas County , West Virginia


One of the reality stars from the hit MTV show Buckwild was arrested overnight in Nicholas County.

Salwa Amin is charged on drug charges --possession with the intent to deliver.

Amin is booked in the Central Regional Jail.

The show 'Buckwild', has just been picked up for a second season on MTV.


The show profiles nine young adults and their crazy antics in and around Kanawha County. 'Buckwild' first debuted on MTV on Jan. 3. (click here to read local reaction of the debut show)


Amin will be arraigned later Monday morning by a judge.

Her previous arrest was in Kanawha County back in July of 2012.

The show has garnered some criticism from officials around the Mountain State.

Senator Joe Manchin asked the makers of the show to cancel the show saying it's not a true representation of West Virginia.

Now word has it that niccas from Gary and the Chi are in WV. Those niccas from the D are mainly 85% of Huntington's population if you take out the enrolling students attending Marshall. Sadly, her connected to them and she got hit with some kingpin !! on $200,000 bail up to 40 years max. She asking why? !! you're a co-conspirator.
