i've taken many classes in projected movie gross and accurate and factual theatrical estimations and i can confirm that the movie would've done 225 million first weekend had the shooting not happened..we can[..]ume all night long but scientific fact proves that the movie lost around 65 million due to the tragedy




so yes, TDKR has officially beaten the avengers records [pic] and why are people acting surprised tho? deep down inside we all knew it would [pic] marvel needs to give nolan a call to produce their next movie..only way it'll have a chance

Gimmick just like 3-D. I couldn't tell the difference watching TDKR in IMAX. 3D is a gimmick because not all films really have significant enough 3-D. I give animated films a lot of credit because they utilize the 3-D technology well. IMAX is a gimmick because not every IMAX is IMAX and why should it cost more? Because its clearer? I'm not complaining just saying.

I understand that some theaters lie about their IMAX screens , but I dont think that justifies calling IMAX a gimmick in general since there still are those real IMAX screens out there that no one can deny has a vastly superior picture which delivers a totally different viewing experience.


That would be almost like calling any type of popular brand of clothing, electronics, etc a gimmick because there are counterfeits of it on the market. [pic]

I'm not a marvel stan. I'm a fan of both. I'm a realist. I'm not going to hold out on watching something entertaining cause it's a different brand than what I may deem better than the other or because I try to portray myself as being the most intelligent person with superior taste of movies on the internet because I enjoy a story and acting vs mindless action. Living inside a judgement bubble is an antiquated way of thinking. I'm just not a !!rider like most on here.
