why release the directors cut now when in 5 years you can re-release the entire trilogy in a special edition? See George Lucas.

I already got the first 2 on DVD but I'm a just get all the movies on blu-ray but I'm getting the other 2 on blu-ray while they are cheap.

No, unfortunately iTunes does not look as good as blu ray. It's pretty close on most movies, but on some the gap is pretty big. The grey looks MUCH better on blu ray for instance. Blu ray seems to handle dark scenes better. I didn't notice a big difference on my 43 inch plasma, but on my 60 inch plasma it's very noticeable. I will say that bb and tdk are almost equal. Not a big enough difference to really sway one way or the other. I've been re building my library on iTunes simply for the convenience and the ability to put my movies on my iPad at will. But if your a videophile or just enjoy the best picture possible, then go with blu ray.

I believe he was developing a Batman movie where Bruce was homeless and Alfred was a black mechanic.

DA's version would've been a really radical approach.
Maybe Nolan/Goyer took a feather out of DA's hat for Begins, being that Bruce technically was homeless in that one too.

But I'm sure DA's version wouldnt have romanticized that situation at all. It probably would've been something like Dennis Quaid's character in Gang Related, straight up BUM STATUS. From those new Wolverine pics it looks like the idea got over there too. Or maybe I'm reaching...
