Wow, this looked terrible. I really hope the entire film changes my mind.

the movie doesnt seem "darker" or "gritty" to me (atleast not dark and gritty for the sake of being dark and gritty). I get that it's a spiderman movie, but real life isn't campy, and they're taking a more realistic angle. Peter lost both his parents and eventually Uncle Ben and is picked on daily. dudes been through some !!. that sets up the tone of this film.

I wrote this movie off the minute I heard about it. But i am slowly being sold on it.

I love the fact they kept more to the actual comic with web shooters/ and more hand to hand combat. But as said before its basically same exact plot just add in some new characters here and there

im guessing The marketing team for the movie collaborates with the director & producer to decide how they want to promote the film. lol idk .

i'll be seeing it, hope they build up eddie brock in this one. but they'll prolly have a new villain for the next film

heard they used some slick new 3D cameras to shoot some of the scenes so the 3D should be legit as well.....

It will probably be the green goblin, most likely Gwen Stacy will die in the next film.

Looks like they finalyy have spiderman actually act like spiderman.

spider-man has always been my favorite super hero since i was a kid and at first i wasnt sure about this reboot....but now after seeing this trailer, im pumped and can't wait to see the movie....my only question is where is the proto-goblin? wasnt he supposed to be a second villain or something?

the quick cuts in the trailer don't really give you the chance to really see but Lizard !!ing huge compared to Spidey

I really, really hope they take just a minute to introduce Eddie Brock properly in this trilogy, hopefully in the second one as a photographer already working at the DB. With the size of the Lizard in this, the bigger, more monstrous villains (like Venom) could really shine.

maybe ppl think this movie looks dark and gritty in comparison to raimi's trilogy since the last movie gave us a black alien suit that made peter parker jazz dance and style his hair like a douche

To me its like a mix between Spiderman and Batman: Phantasia (I think thats the name of it)

Just like one dude above me said... replace goblin with the lizard, MJ with gwen, and then the "being chased by NY police" thing from the Batman movie...
