Alright BX, Who Winning Best Picture At The Oscars 2013?

I'd vote Django. Haven't seen Argo or Zero Dark Thirty yet though.

I vote Django but I think Amour is gonna pick up a lot of steam and attention in the next 6 weeks kinda like how The Artist did last year.

Lately the academy is loving these small budget movies.

Maybe the Golden Globes this Sunday will give a hint of things to come for The Oscars.

Hah Django is gonna sweep on this site. But, I voted for it, but only other ones I saw are Lincoln and Argo, I thin Argo is maad overrated, and Lincoln was very good, but for me its Django not that Ive seen em all.

I haven't seen it, but Lincoln is the runaway favorite to win.

no they aren't. Lincoln is going to win. They are going to give Spielberg a "Hey this is probably your last chance so thanks for everything you did in film" award like they did with Meryl Streep last year. Lincoln is going to sweep. the only film that has a chance to disrupt is Silver Linings Playbook or Life of Pi

I hadn't even heard of beasts of the southern wild till just before I saw it, and let me just say it was great and definitely worth the watch. I haven't seen any threads or even commercials for it so I was shocked. That being said django or lincoln gonna win i bet. A lot of great movies this year [pic]

Eh if Django doesnt win, Life of Pi or Lincoln will prolly win

Quite a weak year to be honest.

And the fact that the Oscars are getting worse year by year doesn't help either.

Lincoln is likely to win. I haven't seen nor do I plan to see any of them.

As does any film who's Director did not also get a nomination(see Zero Dark Thirty and Argo). "Django" being nominated for Best Picture is essentially a gimmick nomination that was more than likely bought by Harvey Wienstein. That is all.

As to the Question at hand, it will either be "Lincoln" or "Silver Linings Playbook". [pic] This is evident by the # of nominations and the places they were nominated.

And as they are the best Two films I've seen this year so far... It seems The Academy finally got it right. [pic]

"Amour" has an outside chance, but they would literally have to lose their minds to give it to a foriegn film a year after giving to a Silent Black and White.

"Lincoln" is the safe... And smart bet.
