but i guess they didnt want two actors from the same movie in the same category... they were both brilliant in the movie but with the way it was written....and dicaprio coming in at the second half of the movie...i guess it seemed more justified for waltz to get the nomination dicaprio gonna get his though...hes def due for it

That scene at the dinner table with Leo's real blood displayed how good Leo really is. The tension, anger, and quality of acting he displayed in that scene alone should have earned him a nomination. Last edited by DonFalcon; 01-10-2013 at 09:22 AM..

Don't they nominate two actors from the same movie all the time ?? You dont think Leo deserves it more than any of those 5 other guys ?? Waltz was dope tho, definitely not mad at his nomination, he was amazing, but Leo was just phenomenal, his performance was a notch or two above Waltz's IMO especially since we've never seen Leo like that before nor did we expect to. Damn near ALL film critics were praising Leo's performance the most. That was arguably the best performance of his career and definitely best supporting of the year IMO and they dont even give him a nomination. | The Academy always !! on Leo. Since 97 when he was pretty much the only one who got snubbed for Titanic (even the old lady got nominated) He aint show up to the ceremony and said he aint think it was important, and they been turning their noses up at him since.
