Michael Vick Launching V7 Apparel Line

Today, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick announced the creation of V7, a new performance apparel collection. Excluding his previous sneaker deal with Nike, V7 will be Vick's first signature apparel line.

V7 products are designed to Vick's personal specifications. The collection features a full range of sports and athletic clothing and accessories at affordable price points. Included in this summer's lineup is high performance active wear for casual fans and serious athletes.

“This is a dream come true for me,” said Vick. “The quality and design of the V7 line is on another level. I know my fans will appreciate the look and feel of the products.”

The new line is collaborative effort between Vick and Brian Sher, Vick's longtime friend and business partner. Sher was also an Executive Producer on Vick’s BET television series “The Michael Vick Project.”

“Michael Vick is the most talented and exciting player in professional sports,” said Sher. “The V7 collection reflects the energy that Vick brings not only to the game of football, but to the game of life.”

A portion of the proceeds from the V7 product line will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia. “I grew up in the Boys & Girls Club,” said Vick. “Thanks to this important program, I was able to play organized sports as a child. I want to make sure the programs continue to give children positive alternatives.”

Vick will appear in person to unveil the new V7 apparel line at two Modell’s Sporting Goods locations in Philadelphia on Wednesday July 11. He will meet with media members and Modell’s special guests at the Cottman Ave. store at 12p.m. EST, followed by a 5 p.m. EST appearance at the Snyder Ave. location that is open to the public.
