Dwyane Wade Leaving Jordan Brand For Li-Ning Endorsement? |

One – Why is Dwyane leaving the st@bility of Team Jordan? Two – What the hell is Li-Ning? In my opinion, if this deal goes down it makes perfect sense. Playing on the same team as LeBron James has it’s benefits, which we saw last season with the Miami Heat winning the title, but it also has it’s downfalls marketing-wise. Dwyane has had to take a step back and let LeBron lead the team, which marketing-wise makes him less appealing. At one point, it could be said that Dwyane was the biggest star of Team Jordan, but with his leadership role being relegated in Miami as well as Carmelo’s move from the obscure city of Denver where no one on the east coast saw his games to the more visible, bright-lights city of New York; you’ll probably get more bang for your buck putting Melo in the limelight. This is where Li-Ning comes in. Dwyane’s situation in Miami is probably not going to change for the next two years because the force that is LeBron James is still going to dominate the game of basketball for a long time. Dwyane is going to need someone to put some shine on him, even if the Miami Heat aren’t his team because he’s still an All-Star caliber player. Why would Li-Ning want to invest in the Heat’s second fiddle? Because despite being #2, he is still one of the biggest celebrities in the basketball world. They have no one else capable of promoting their products with the star power that Dwyane has. Li-Ning has the money to invest in America but they’ve never found the right star. Shaq was their first big endorsement deal figure, but he was at the end of his career and is now an analyst on television which diminishes the worldwide reach he could have. The 2nd biggest star on their roster is Baron Davis, who is washed up and is also looking at retirement. Li-Ning would essentially become Dwyane’s shoe company and both sides would get what they want. Li-Ning has a star in D-Wade, while the Miami shooting guard has someone who will fully pay attention to him. Dwyane Wade Leaving Jordan Brand For Li-Ning Endorsement? |

| People have to understand, right now Li-Ning is pretty unknown and not worn by many in the NBA but they're coming up, the more players they get, the more input on designs they'll get and the shoes will look better and better I think. Evan Turner, and Baron's shoe are aight imo, I think it's good if Dwade goes to Li-Ning I might cop me some. Nike wasn't always on top of the basketball shoe world, they were once up and coming too.
