Does Anyone still wear evisu

I was just wondering does anyone still wear these jeans anymore? Since the market got flooded with fakes I haven't really seen them like that. I guess the same will be with Red Monkey jeans also?

As far as premium denim goes, Evisu is overrated and overpriced. They're good quality, but you pay a big premium for the Evisu name. There's plenty of other high quality raw denim on the market that's of comparable quality to Evisu, and some of it sells for quite a bit less. Granted, Evisu isn't nearly as overpriced as Red Monkey – their prices are ridiculous. Good raw denim is still expensive, however. Some good brands worth looking at:

Sugar Cane
Nudie (a lot of denim heads prefer them over Evisu – and everything else)
APC (they sell for $140 and are of excellent quality)
Rag & Bone
Levi's
Diesel
Pure Blue Japan
7 for All Mankind

Many of the jeans I've listed are still quite expensive ($200+), but they're very well made, and tend to get overshadowed by better known brands like Evisu and RMC. And in case anyone mentions it, I left True Religion off that list, since it falls into the category of BS hype, along with Bape and BBC.

exactly. too much money.. sh*t is redic; not just the jeans either, jackets and sh*t too. their t-shirts are wack too.

nudie have some crazy denim.

Agreed.

IMO, a funny looking seagull isn't worth paying an extra $100 - $200 for. Nudies do look simple, but that wave embroidery on the back pocket is beautiful, and I hear they're a better/more comfortable fit than Evisu. Regardless of which one you buy, you're still looking at $200-$300 for a pair of jeans – at least.

I still don't see whats so special about really expesive jeans. I wear guess and express jeans (ranging from 60-80) and they feel great.

You do know that Wrangler also has 200 to 300 dollar jeans as well right?

I been looking for some Nudies.....I just cant get em in the size I like to buy my jeans in ...I can't STAND tight ass jeans...Im a keep a look out for the Nudie Bjorn...there are the baggy ones right?

I been trying to scoop some PRPS as well...but im having the same issue with them as well as the Nudies though

Oh and EBAY is still a good place to get these jeans for cheaper than what your paying in the stores...I just bought me 2 pair of Evisu Jeans off there for $160 and $170......hell it sure beats 200 and up. Only catch is there a few years old..but whatever..jeans never go out of fashion.

Guess does have Guess Premium...I wear both but trust me, I don't drop $150-$200 for my Guess Premium's. Comfortable as hell and I find great discounts on them too.
