This Air Jordan VIII that was produced during the model’s Retro run in 2003, but this particular version of the famed ‘Playoffs’ doesn’t feature the chaotic pattern on the mudguard nor does it have the chenille material on the tongue. We’ve seen some funky Air Jordan VIII samples before (like that upside-down logo of the Aquas), but this considering this alleged 1-of-1 is a size 13.5, there’s a possibility that these could have been created for Michael Jordan himself. I have a pair of these samples in a size 9 from 03, my tongue has different material and same color pull tab though. These were supposed to be retro'd in 2004, color never made it to production until years later!
