People wear Chuck Taylors and don't know the history of the shoe--folks wear the adidas superstar and don't know anything about the shoe. Years from now it doesn't matter--Jordan's will still be relevant even if no one knows the legacy.

I get the factJordan pretty much is the legacy. As long as he is considered GOAT the jordan brand will always live.

I just don't see how long they can keep up selling and releasing the same exact shoe every year..

It's not the same shoe every year. Nike is a fortune 500 company and they have a good marketing team and release shoes strategically, they do their research. Some shoes are retroed for the first time such as the Chicago 10s that came out this year. Other shoes get released every 3, 4, 5 or 6 years. And they only come out in limited numbers each time they're released, so that the hype and demand surpasses the supply. This allows them to get away with it..Strategic marketing.

im really waiting for the bred 11's but im contemplating buying these now for $300 and not have to worry about black friday or get another pair black friday to stash or resell......hmmmmmm
