| GIVE PROPS QUICK MSG a d ![]() $4,344 | Rep: 11622422 | Creating a production credit/sampling database (any help is appreciated) Whattup fam, I primarily produce/DJ down here in south Florida, and with the recent passing of Issac Hayes, a competitive DJ radio station of ours recently did a creative 1 hour & a half long airtime bit of Issac Hayes hits, and then specific rap songs that sampled from them. The company I work for loved the idea but wanted to do it much-much bigger. They have requested for me to create an ongoing Excel database of production credits/sampling archive. Now, I own over 2,600+ retail cds so I will be slowly going through the album books to do this. But if anyone would like to help, I'll definitely prop you, and give your 'researchers' credit on this as well. All I ask is...if you plan to submit something, please at least submit a full CD's tracklisting, including year released & samples with original performers. When I get it to a presentable point, I'll also post it here at Boxden as well, so get an idea of what I'm looking for. Thanks in advanced!
