Bananas
Avocados
Sweet potatoes
Chobani Greek yogurt
Cottage cheese
Kale/spinach
Skim milk
Brown rice
Black beans
2 dozen eggs
Whole wheat pasta
Chicken [..]s
Oatmeal
Beef filets
Honey
Olive oil
Tuna
Smoked salmon
Peanut/almond butter
Broccoli
Quinoa
Spring water
Almonds
Id'e make sure my Salmon was wild caught and id'e either switch to Almond milk or find some local raw milk. Skim milk has to be the least effective and worst milk on the market.[pic]

haven't ate chicken for a minute now. love that beef and pork.
Id'e switch from peanut butter to Almond butter, the nutritional benefits are like night and day and if you can find organic raw almond butter that is stone pressed that's even better. Cereal? [pic]
How bout some original oatmeal in almond milk with a few handfuls of blackberries and or blueberries?

again.... skim milk.....[pic]

Just some Food for thought... There is no "Legal" definition for the term "Natural" by FDA/USDA standards..... Oh and 1,000,000 Native americans weren't buying PACKAGED beef.

I forgot to add pedialyte to the list. On leg days I do heavy cardio before hitting my squats and deads, and I sweat like a !!in caveman. Pedialyte restores those electrolytes that I lose and fuel me to get through a grueling lower body workout. Better alternative to gatorade which is pretty much glorified sugar water. It's expensive as hell tho so I usually just get the generic CVS brand.

You tried almond milk? Did you notice it has more calcium than Milk and it isn't pastuerized nor does it have dairy and or other unecessary ingredients? Silk Almond is pretty good. My suggestion? Vanilla or Dark Chocolate....

Yea I tried it [pic] its not bad...like I said I use it for my oatmeal and shakes. I'm gonna start doing all my food shopping at trader joe's instead of just getting my organic stuff there. I'm sure almond milk there is like half the cost that it is at Giant

Diet is something I've always slacked on...I work at a restaurant so I eat a meal a day there, and usually when I get off I'll just pick something up from somewhere and go home. I'm trying to get back into cooking and shopping more, so this thread has been helpful.

For dude that said he chops all his veggies and cooks his meats every Sunday, how long do you generally keep that stuff refrigerated? Not knowing how long things keep in the fridge makes me nervous. That's something I'd like to try and do though so that I can keep my cooking time down during the week, and my roommate's gf is in the kitchen all the time during the week cooking for them so I don't have as much access to it anyways.

I live like 3 blocks from a trader joe's and have never been in. I usually go to Costco or Von's (Safeway). Is it pricey?

personally I think halal is barbaric and cruel. I'm not too religious with my foods and think our current system is generally clean and safe. So I'm good with the organic natural stuff.
