| GIVE PROPS QUICK MSG a d ![]() $3,314 | Rep: 0 | I can share a few things my football coach has our team doing. First off, do your warm-ups to get loose. Next, do twelve 60 yard sprints. It should go as so. 60 yard sprint. A slow jog back to the start(Your body will slowly recover as you gain your wind back) Then another 60 yard sprint full speed. Continue to your done. Also, if you think you can't do 12 try 6,8 or 10 to start with. Finish up with six sets of 20 second quick feet excercizes. First three sets could consist of you having your feet together and quickly jump lateral over a line as many time as you can within in 20 seconds. Rest for 45 seconds and then continue The second three sets, have your feet together and jump foward and back over a line for 20 seconds. Remember do as many as you can in the alotted time. Rest 48 hours Day 2 Do your regular warm-up Then run three 200 yard sprints. After finishing the first 200 yards, do 150 crunches. 50 straight, then 50 on each side. When do with the crunches, rest for a minute then continue again. After a few weeks your speed should increase, but you will notice that you can run full speed for greater lengths of time. yea all thats good for you...also try jump roping...it increases speed,agility, and stamina.

^^^ That's really your best response. You gain a lot of speed and imo range of motion using resistance bands. Just you can't really get built off of them. Last edited by StatisticZ; 11-03-2009 at 09:35 PM.. |
