 Vibram 5 finger "KSO"

So after a few days of research i decided to grab a pair of these bad larry's.... > Vibram 5 finger "KSO" - Photo posted in The BX Gym - Health, Exercise, and Nutrition | Sign in and leave a comment below!

First day.. Im thoroughly impressed with the overall feel and comfort... i shall update after the weekend or after some heavier use......

Im eager to get a better walking/running posture and strengthen my feet and legs... and just overall have a more natural experience with certain outdoor activities.....

Anyone who's considered these ide recommend getting one size higher than what the vibram foot measurer indicates... for example mine said size 44. The 44's were true to size snugged.... I went with the 45 which aren't much looser but are in contrary just slightly more comfortable overall in movement etc......

Anyhow I'm lovin these so far......

I was going to grab a pair of those but went with the newbalance minimus instead. !!ING LOVE THESE THINGS! If anyone likes the free run I highly recommend the minimus. Very small hard sole as well as lightweight.

I'm still learning about minimalist running shoes and I'm loving the 0mm heel to toe drop [pic]

I was gonna get these over my Adidas Powerlift trainers
[pic]

But kinda glad I didn't because I really like lifting in them ^ + I already have free runs for cardio and casual stuff.

I think the Vibrams are cool and are a great multi-purpose shoe no matter if you're lifting or running. I think in terms of money saving it would be wise to just pick up a pair. I've heard they're hard to put on though and the sizing is very confusing to me. I don't think any store near me within 20 miles sells them so if I ordered a pair online, felt like they were maybe a size smaller than I'd like then I would hate to ship them back and wait another week to get 'em.

I don't think I'll ever !! with a shoe for daily use that isn't minimalistic but I'm happy with the Free Runs.

The sizing is just in Euro style..... Similar in contrast to how they track height and car speedometers......

If you go to the VIBRAM site they have size translations.... Also on their site you can do a store locator by zipcode... i found an authorized dealer about 4.6 miles from my house......

The shouldn't be difficult to put on at all,. Of course at first anything new takes getting used to and the same applies to wearing them.
Infact Vibram dealers have this special vibram foot sizer where they size out your bare feet..... whatever your foot comes out to precisely just get one size up or try both to see which one you like... I found that my EXACT size fit was way too snug and indeed difficult to put on.... so i went with a 45 instead of 44... n they are fine....... Iv'e worn them whole days at a time and they are comfortable as hell..... [pic]

I'm not really a runner.... i don't think you even need to be to own a pair.... i have them just to be as close to barefoot in my day to day activities as i can for general strengthening and comfort.... from basic errands to lifting to the beach to kayaking/fishing and etc......[pic]

i have these also, have had them for years now; they are great...I haven't tried any of the other shoes from other companies tho...

!! was annoying as hell at the beginning trying to put them on, but after about 5 times they just slide on as easily as a normal shoe...same with the socks...

i used to get that [pic] look, especially down in here in Miami, but people seem to not care anymore now [pic]

With the new balance and vibrams you have almost no sole which means you're not standing on a platform where you could have the potential to roll an ankle. Your nak3d foot is the best support you will ever have aside from a laced up cleat or brace.
