I've seen people swimming, and most don't swim the correct way. If you do it right, your arms are always the first to get tired...

Literally.

You don't know what you're talking about... like, at all. Just STFU.

the criteria isnt the same, if that was the case, anyone off the street could be a SEAL, not saying the regular sailor requirements are nothing, but what you are saying is ridiculous

basically ur saying just to bascially get into the Navy, i have to be able to do those requirements from the rip, and i KNOW thats BS

thats what i been sayin in here, the swim alone is bananas, and u have to do specific strokes, breatstroke and sidestroke are considered the most difficult strokes in swimming, but of course niccas here on BX, say they can do 500 yards in 9 minutes no sweat [pic]

If you have to do that swim first then it's gonna be a problem. Your arms will be dead tired so them push ups will not be happening

i did 500 yds recently and that !! was tough, and that was freestyle (the fastest stroke) wit no time constraints, so i cant imagine having to do [..] stroke in under 10 min for 500 yd, niccas be sleepin on swimming

I'd say the swim would be a tough one for most folks...

Recommended workout and training tips: Get technique training and learn to pace yourself. Try 5 to 10 sets of 100-yard swims, working on a pace that will get you below the competitive times. (Rest 10 minutes after swimming the 500 yard test before moving on to the next exercise.)
8-9 minutes for 500 yards is God awful slow, but that's from a freestyle stroke's perspective. Using only Combat Swimmer Stroke, sidestroke, and [..], now that's pretty tough, even for a competitive swimmer.

thats all i was saying, i mean, me personally, im only a casual swimmerc so 9 minutes of any stroke would be hard for me, but i have friends who swam competitively and they would knock that !! out

but even they say that [..] stroke !! for that distance is hard as !!, so wen dudes on here saying they can just knock that !! right out im like WTF

and then jumping out the pool and knocking out all those pushups, sit ups and running with no break??? [pic]
