Mouth wired shut/Need a diet

 Mouth wired shut/Need a diet
By drama_kiNg - 07-23-2012, 09:34 PM - Boxden > The BX Gym - Health, Exercise, and Nutrition

In a month I am going to have to have my jaw wired shut for about 2-3 weeks because of surgery, i'm wondering what to drink to help me lose weight during this time but also healthy.

i'm around 200 at 5'10 but i'm a bigger dude, i don't have much fat on me but i could lose some.

i'm trying to use this period as a time where i can lose some weight and also workout and get more in shape since i'm not gonna have anything else to do.

looking for some juices i could buy? that can give me my daily nutrients and proteins. i'd rather just buy juices already made then make it myself if that's possible.

They usually tell you to make smoothies during this time and with no solid food for 2 weeks you will lose weight regardless.

One year I had the flu and loss the need to eat solid foods for 14 days and just drank fluids and I lost 15-20 pounds during that period of time

Most supermarkets have a section where all the health food is and they have 100% juices

Lmao, I really wanted to say the Through the wire line...

Good luck, I would suggest a lot of whey protein shakes thru a straw. I personally like vanilla whey and chocolate milk

i had my jaw wired for 2 months, and had to be on liquid diet for about 2.5 months. You're gonna be drinking a lot of smoothies with protein powders and frozen fruits. A little advice, you might have to make the smoothies really watery to get through your teeth. If you have any questions send me a PM. Good luck

Just buy you some milk, almond milk, protein powder and some frozen fruits. I really can't fathom what else you can really eat other than possibly soup. You could dabble in making vegetable juice also but you need a juicer and IMO !! is kinda expensive to maintain (you go through alot of veggies).

The first thing I thought of was that Kanye verse.

Good enough for Ye, good enough for you.

I remember when I had surgery on my mouth. I would mash up bananas and peanut butter in a bowl until it was like a paste. !! was actually delicious.

I had lots of protein shakes, gainers, ensure, boost. I tried it all. Some is decent but some leaves you thirsty as !! afterwards. Id recommend staying away from a smoothie because you wont be able to REALLY brush your teeth.

Speaking of peanut butter + bananas. I eat this as a desert almost everyday:

Put a couple scoops of peanut butter (I prefer crunchy) in a bowl, put some milk or almond milk in it, pour a little bit of cinnamon and splenda/stevia on it and chop up a banana if you wish (sometimes I just eat it without the banana if I don't have one). !! sounds like some weird[..] cereal but it's good. Maybe you can work it into your liquid diet. I completely forgot about !! like grits and stuff.
