I'll occassionally eat a big meal here or there. Im in the military and I got TAD orders to work in the galley. I was a 34 waist now I'm pushing a 30.

Im pretty active and before juicing I kept to a steadily diet. I think those that aren't active are the ones that loses the most weight.

Any huge difference between juicing and blending? Don't have a juicer, but I have a dog[..] blender. Wanna lose as much weight as humanly possible by June 8 for this black-tie affair and this seems like a good look...

I've been drinking green smoothies a lot. I'd recommend blending kale, cucumber, celery and watermelon. I add Vega Sport berry flavored protein to it. Taste's great.

Vega is a good product, I use their pre-workout.

Yeah, I like their stuff. I use their Gatorade type electrolyte supplements while working out too.

people that get gallstones have a diet that is high in cholesterol. a way of getting rid of gallstones is by drinking apple juice. how are you gonna get gallstones if you juice fruits and vegetables? no disrespect but you're a mongoloid.

I can probably save money on veggies/fruits by hitting local farmers markets.

Most cut off a small piece. I was at times juicing an entire root, but it's hard to drink that way.

Ginger taste like[..] but I would suggest folks throw some in. It's supposed to be really good for your heart and blood vessels.

My mother in law uses ginger with this one Filipino dish and that !! tasted like soap pieces straight up. After she told me the benefits I just man up and eat it now.

Lost 26 lbs...weigh 239 now.. Trying to get to 220 so I can start lifting again...considering doing this for like 10 days...gonna be hard with work...would it be effective if I did it like 2 consecutive days a week

Lost the 26 not by juicing just eating better and exercising

He had a nutritionist monitoring the correct nutrients, vitamins, protein, crabs, fat etc for him to intake so his body didn't go into shock.

You've lost weight because your body can easily absorb liquid faster then solids. It doesn't need to work to digest the liquid. When you go back to solid food your body will take longer to adjust and you'll probably put weight back on.

You feel great because you're mainly putting sugar in your body so what you're experiencing is a sugar rush. When you stop you will crave sugar again. I'll say you've lost water weight then actual fat.

Also you're not getting any fibre in.


because fruit and veg have no fibre in them.

i would think that even if you ate the fruits and veges throughout the day you'd still get the nutrients you need, just maybe not enough of them? i'm not a nutritionist so i can't really say.

I'm juicing about 30 carrots, 2 whole cucumbers, 4-5 handfuls of spinach, a stock of celery, 2-4 apples, 3 kiwis, and half a watermelon. It's enough to make 6-8 glasses per day. Tastes good too.

The first few days i was throwing some strawberries in there but they were kind of expensive and i couldnt really taste them.

For me its not even about being hungry its mostly just breaking the habit of eating. At least 5 times a day the thought crosses my mind of what i'm going to make for breakfast/lunch/dinner. My stomach isn't even hungry, i'm just so used to doing it.
