Duncan got his team 60 wins by himself in a ridiculously tough conference

Kidd got his team 50 wins by himself in the easiest conference we have ever seen (besides 04 east)

Tell you the truth, the MVP kobe won belongs to CP3, he got NO to like 55-56 wins and averaged like 21-11

they won 6 more games than the Nets, not to mention they had the same kind of record last year.

Nets dramatically improved, almost doubling their wins from the previous season. Kidd changed that team around, that's what makes him the most valuable player.

Wes Unseld mos def. But as a Laker fan that Nash MVP always k!lls me. Take Nash off that Suns team they still make the playoffs. Anybody can run Dantoni's offense. Felton and Lin proved this. But take Kobe of that Lakers team they're in the lottery. Dude was in the same starting lineup with Smush Parker, Luke Walton and Kwame Brown. Not to mention he averaged 35 !!IN POINTS A GAME!!!

I think this is a classic how do you judge the words "MVP". Is it best player, or the guy who means the most to his team.

I love J-kidd for making at least a few of my years watching the nets enjoyable, but Duncan was on a different level those years. Look up the stats of the people on Duncan's team that year. He had nobody and got the Spurs 58 wins in a ridiculously tough conference.

A huge of part of the nets success during that 5-6 year period was the conference they played in.
