he didn't want to suck lebron's !! to try and get him to play with him. lebron knew he was going to miami, he just wanted to have all these teams fall all over him to boost up his ego for one last time because he knew going to miami he'd be wade's !!.

That doesn't make a lot of sense. If he likes getting his ego stroked and having people fall over him, and he knew beforehand that he'd be "Wade's !!", why would he still go to Miami?

If they were in a position to do so, every team in the NBA would sign LeBron James(notes) to a max-level contract. He is a force, and a marketing machine, and virtually every other superlative you can think of other than "NBA champion."

The Chicago Bulls are one of the teams lucky enough to be vying for his services. But according to Brian Windhorst (via PBT), their star would have preferred another player in free agency:

[LeBron] really likes [Derrick] Rose & [Joakim] Noah. But there’s lack of shooters on roster. Also it doesn’t sound like he’s exactly being welcomed by Rose.

Didn’t say Rose was anti-LeBron. But the word is his preference was Joe Johnson(notes). They have same agent. That is what multiple people tell me.

Congratulations to Derrick Rose(notes) for simultaneously being the hardest and easiest player to please in the NBA. I understand the importance of fit, but James is so superior to Johnson that it seems silly to have a preference on the basis of who’s the better shooter. Presumably Rose does not think that rebounding, defense, pa#sing, and all other forms of scoring are important.
