I agree with most of what you've said. But all LeBron did was exercise his right to leave in free agency. Nothing wrong with that. You think Kobe wouldn't have done the same thing? Hell, Kobe demanded to be traded from a team that GIFTED him three rings by pairing him with the most dominant big man of his era while Kobe was just a young gunner.
If LeBron had been gifted something like that, he would have retired in Cleveland, appreciative of the three rings the franchise was able to help him achieve. Instead his franchise did nothing for him, and he did what he had to do.
