hes not in the running this year, shaq took all his mvp's during their title run

every great player has atleast one.....it would be sad that he doesnt have hardware to show for his individual performance

Wade will have one
Lebron will have one
Carmello might have one
Kobe one of the greats and needs to have one

come to think of it....i dont think he will get one...he's finished

u would think the rings would be enough tho

they don't win like they used to w/o shaq. til kobe can lead them to western con finals or finals, i doubt he'll win one.

this year ain't nowhere over. i wouldn't get too excited. still alot of play ahead. lakers could go ahead and lose 50-60% rest of their games. i doubt that will happen if no injuries happen. but don't start throwin out current records. cuz its far from over. last night lose could be a string of a 20 game losing streak, and u might of jinxed it to do so. Not until the haters in the media (and on the net :finger: ) stop judging him on !! (selfishness, ballhog, accused, etc.) that happened years ago and take notice that his mindset and his game has evolved since he got players on his team that actually appreciate his talents and the incredible game he brings every night.

The MVP is partially a popularity contest (proven by last years vote, 4th place... :wtf:) and as long as the media is against him it doesn't matter how great a season he and the Lakers have (again... see last season) he can't win.

If the Lakers keep winning and they finish with a better record then the Cavs, he might have a chance. The NBA wants to give Lebron that MVP, but if the Lakers keep winning they will have no choice but to give it to Kobe.

If he finally gets his team passed the 1st round he has a chance. But think about it, his team plays just as good without him. So I really don't see how he could be most valuable.

Kobes gonna win at least 3 more nba titles before his career is over and id rather have that instead of 10 mvps and 0 more titles. I would actually love to see that Kobe winning no mvps but winning the nba championship.
