Why are people esp. ESPN picking on Alabama?

I didn't know you had to hire a coach within a specific time frame.

Or am I missing something?

They're trying to give someone a multi-million dollar contract, I'd take the job if no one else wants it. :) Nick Saban turned down 50 million.

thats crazy... isnt the highest paid coach Stoops at like 2.8?? MIA just shut NE out though I think he'll wanna see how the Dolphins do next year with everyone healthy and Harrington a year deeper in the system... I think he can take them to the playoffs in the next 2 years... !! im just an aub fan hoping he doesnt go to UA
