| its because of injuries...football is a high risk sport. why would an owner invest a huge amounts of money (relative to other sports) in a player that may very well suffer a career-ending injury on any given play. | |

| There are a lot more people on a football team than any other team sport. I'm guessing thats part of the reason. | |

| it makes sense and its fair...if its (for example) 7 years 70 million...your able to EARN that 70 million over the 7 years your under contract rather then get the 70 million out the gate...that !! would be unfair | |
