they dont have the salary cap to franchise him.
It was just announced that he wont be franchised.
They're gonna let him test the market out and *hopefully* he can see that Baltimore is the best place for him.
To be honest I dont see any other defense being able to utilize his strengths like Baltimore's.

If he leaves, dont count on Baltimore to do well next year.

giants have never used the franchise tag. They, like many other teams and players, have always regarded the tag as a restrictive, hostile act that is not conducive to closing a longer-term deal with the player. my edit

"The Ravens have decided not to use the franchise tag on Adalius Thomas and will allow the All-Pro linebacker to become an unrestricted free agent on March 2, general manager Ozzie Newsome said today."

I read the Packers would like to get him and convert him strictly to Defensive End. Wouldn't look good for KGB's future if it ended up happening.

Wrong. He would be a perfect fit in Tampa. He would have a veteran like Lewis Next to him in Brooks. Our pa#s rushing needs a little help, but hopefully they will address that.

49ers have the cap space and Mike Nolan and Mike Singletary were his coaches in Baltimore but I still have doubts about John York spending the money to bring him in but hopefully he proves me wrong

49ers have crazy cap space, so im thinking they may have the best shot.
