What would you change about the NBA?

Steve Aschburner of SI.com has a piece today involving the readers and their thoughts on what should be changed to make the NBA better.

A few of the suggested changes proposed by the readers include: playoffs, playground style; first-round byes in the playoffs; fix the dunk contest; end the flopping; and increasing pace ("Change the :24 clock to :20").

My vote goes for eliminating flopping and going back to five-games (from the current seven) in the first round of the playoffs.

definitely need to institute technicals for flopping (which i think they already bull!!ted and said they were doing this year) and fines/suspensions for repeat offenders

-Let's see, I'd shorten the season to about 60 games.

-I'd shorten the time off between games in the playoffs. Why does it take 2 and a half weeks to play the first round? why?

-I'd make the first two rounds best of 5 while the conference finals and NBA finals would be 7

-I'm sorry, holding your forearm in the back of an opponent while he's posting up is a FOUL. Call that !! every time. Handchecking is gay[..] defense, play straight up.

Hockey has a diving rule, and so does soccer nba needs to follow, they should have a system like how they do technicals.

Git rid of the Zone
1st round 5 games
the officiating needs 2 check every game almost

You get rid of the zone and you'll see player's playing 1 on 1 every damn game and scoring will go up because they can get to the rim damn near anytime they want.

Eliminate BS refereeing. Be consistent. I want to pull my hair out every time I see that mother!!er Chris Paul acting like a 10 year old getting hit by a mack truck every time he runs into a defender.
