LeBron James will be given the primary[..]ignment of defending Kevin Durant.

Dwyane Wade made the case that it could be good for his fellow Heat star.

“I’m glad he has that challenge because it’s going to make him focus more,” Wade said. “It’s going to make him play a little different. I’d rather for him to be guarding Kevin Durant than to have to guard DeShawn Stevenson like last year, where he wasn’t as involved. And also Shawn Marion, he wasn’t as involved. Kevin Durant, you’ve got have your antennas up at all times. I think it’s going to bring out the best in both of them.”

if they had a bigger PG they could throw wade on westbrook. I dont think chalmers will be able to hold westbrook. It will be interesting to see if OKC has thabo guardin lebron cuz he could easily get kd in foul trouble on offense

he made a valid point, there are pros and cons. we definitely need to keep lebron engaged. no need to read between the lines, he made a pretty clear reference to last year's finals. there will be plenty of cross match ups. i'm sure wade will see time on westbrook as he has routinely in previous meetings and i'm sure battier will pick up durant some of the game and wade will get him on switches and in transition. if they put thabo on bron, that will help wade because thabo is one of the better guys in the league at defending wade 1 on 1.
