A- Dawson called out Ward

B- Dawson then said he would come down in weight and it wouldn't be a problem.

C- Dawson then said he would come to Ward's hometown and it wouldn't be a problem.

Andre Ward wasn't actively seeking out Chad Dawson, Chad Dawson challenged him, Ward took the challenge and beat him so badly he quit.

I am not disrespecting Chad Dawson, he disrespected himself, Dawson made this decision, so has no one to blame but himself.

Dawson said everything was cool weight wise at the weigh in press conference[pic]..he just wasn't ready for the speed and power he was facing when he got in there with Dre...after that last left hook...he was like[pic]

I have respect for anybody that steps in to that ring...Dawson cut a lot of weight, and still hung in there for 10 rounds, even when it was evident throughout the fight that he is very weak and drained at that weight.

And props to him for not making any excuses and giving full credit to Ward.

Every guy coming down in weight says that.

He got KO'd by Miranda in sparring a weak ago. He was dead at the weight. !! Gary Shaw for selling him down the river for 600k

He had to take off 7 lbs more. The weight he put back on was water weight, and he lost a lot of strength that water doesn't put back on....and he was KO'd in sparring with huge gloves and headgear just a week ago. He was dead at the weight.

[pic] Some of you cats don't know !! about boxing, fighting, cutting weight, etc. A seventeen pound cut isn't even out of the ordinary for a fighter that weighs 185 lbs. That's absolutely normal in combat sports. Guys that walk around at twenty pounds less than Dawson regularly cut more weight than that and have no problem performing.

The results of that fight were a reflection of just how skilled Andre Ward is.
