Are the Nets better than last year? Yes
Are the Nets contenders with this team...and can beat the Celtics or the Heat or OKC? No way
If the Nets somehow have a big master plan of trading these big contracts now for Dwight or something else.....than the Nets MIGHT actually win

In the end I think the Nets will do better but not NBA Finals good.....and if they end up doing bad and dont play well as a team....then I can see NJ getting sick and tired of the overloaded contracts and trying to start all over....just like the Hawks did with their contract.....
