you clearly changed "come" to "came" for the purpose of makin it seem a certain way...i was takin future tense becuz they will come as we all kno...only had a i said "came" would that indicate someone hated on Kobe

Great read but Kobe and his fans give people a reason to hate him. So he's never going to get the respect that some people feel he deserves and some people feel as if he gets too much. Its probably going to be this way forever...

cool but its not about Kobe its really about the fan's and wat we must demand of the media and ourselves...the disrespect at the legends is one of the factors to why the game has become as watered down as it is

Maybe Jordan set the bar too high and made it impossible for there to be an heir to the thrown. Or maybe there is a heir but people just don't want it to be Kobe. They've doubted him since he was 17 years old when we first heard the comparisons and just won't let it register that he just might be that great.

here's the thing with ur post...what ur saying is true but then u go on to say it about kobe when kobe and his fans ARE THE MAIN ONES WHO DO THIS.U can't just say...oh this guy and this guys gets overrated respect and just ignore it about kobe because ur a fan of his.Kobe's fans are so delusional and it gets so sickening seein !! every day about this and that and how he's the goat when in reality he's just cracked the top 10 (if that..i can name 10 off top...7 of which are non debateblae and about 5-10 other that can be)

and no he is not THAT GOOD.He is one of the greatest to ever do it but no way close to jordan.Jordan basically only played 11 season with the bulls (in 2 seasons only played 17 games) and had 6 titles,6 finals mvps,5 nba mvps,10 scoring titles,2 all time in steals,4th all time in scoring,10 time all nba first team,9 time all nba defensive first team,defensive player of the year,and the list goes on

kobe is in his 14th season and is not close in anything other then championships but people still say well if he does this,this and this he can catch him.If in the next 6 season he wins the scoring title every year,wins 2 more chips,get finals mvp in both,wins mvp 4 times,and wins dpoy once he'll be even in many things but still behind by 2 scoring titles and still wouldn't be close in steals.Kobe would have done all this,still came up short, and woulda took kobe 20 season in which jordan did all his in pretty much 11.On top of it kobe doin all that in the next 6 years won't happen

i understand where ur comin from but to say he's "just" cracked top 10 players all time...do u hear wat ur saying..."just", like being top 50 is an honor in itself but for kobe to be top 10 all time says volumes....to say he is the greatest is arguable but the argument is warranted for a player who is top 50 all time...

this is my point...if u had more respect for the past players then u would realize that u saying kobe is maybe top 10 is a big deal becuz any body that is top 30 could b one of the greatest cuz there are that many legends

no...see here's the things.Kobe being top 10-15 is great accomplishment.He is also the second best shooting guard ever which is great also.He is prolly the top player in the nba right now (although lebrons jumper is comin along and i think wade can be in talks).But anytime somebody says kobe ain't the goat or isn't even top 3 laker ever it's looked at as hate when it's just the truth.When u look at the player ranked 1-10 for each slot up on the ranking it is a HUGE LEAP.So in order for a guy to go up another notch he needs to do some great things to surpa#s the guy in front of him because all of those guys have huge awards and accomplishments.When guys wanna put him in the talks with jordan,russell,and magic it's just not that close

if people wanna come come on boxden and praise kobe for being top 10-15...i'm good with that.When they start saying he's better then the top 5-10 that's where i got an issue
