Now I don't know whose contracts are coming off the book this year but we need to re-sign Dashon Goldson after this season and hopefully some other contracts come off as well to re-sign bowman after next year since he becomes a free agent after 2013

Bowman only making $490,000 this year And $575,000 next year

This is, obviously, quite ironic, since it was Giants owner John Mara who chairs the committee that imposed the salary cap punishments on the Redskins and the Cowboys for the way they spent their money in the uncapped 2010 season. Mara was the driving force behind those punishments and spoke out strenuously in defense of them at the owners' meetings in March, when he said the Redskins and Cowboys were "lucky they didn't lose draft picks" as punishment.

What's the big deal? Deadline hasn't even passed.... And teams go over the cap all the time during the off season, it's a normal occurrence.

Hmmmm so either we are resigning Bowe,Hillis and or picking out free agents. Can't go wrong with either. Might have to get another rb because Hillis is a one year deal and he's probably gonna play for a contract. Might not pay him soooo.

For those hatin, Miami has a #1 pick in the old agreement, and them dudes got some major dough. Long is our highest paid player 13 mill against cap.

Thats why they havent resigned him.
